Mark Seely - Geoscience Manager
Mr. Seely is responsible for overseeing the geoscience department, including the interpretation of the company’s seismic data sets over fields in Kansas and South Texas. He leads the key geologic play concepts of the vertical Mississippi Lime in Cowley County, Kansas as well as identifying entry points into new oil plays within our geologic and geographic focus areas.
Mr. Seely has 30 years of experience in the fields of geology, geophysics, and rock-physics. Mr. Seely served as a Senior District Geologist at Samson Resources in their Regional Basin Analyses Group. He held numerous lead technical positions for both Noble Energy and Kerr-McGee Corporation, including Chief Geologist in Beijing for KMCPL. Mr. Seely earned his BA/MA in Geology from Washington University in St. Louis in 1984.
